Shauwn Mkhize (Known as Mamkhize) tried to invade tax and SARS was all over her property, freezing her assets, leaving her empty handed.
Shauwn Mkhize: South African Revenue Service (SARS) raids businesswoman and multi-millionaire Shauwn Mkhize’s property in Durban.
The raid took place after Durban high court granted SARS a search and seizure warrant against Royal AM owner MamKhize.
Shauwn owns a mansion in La Lucia, farm, and luxury cars. SARS along with the police raided the three storey mansion in La Lucia
It is reported that Shauwn Mkhize owes massive amount of money of about R47 million Rands. The revenue service said it has been cracking down the construction industry saga which is linked to Mamkhize for tax invasion. The revenue service wants to ensure that tax laws are followed in the construction industry.
SARS commissioner Edward Kieswetter says the operation sends an unambiguous message to tax invaders.
Mamkhize has made efforts over the years to contest tax claims, aiming to delay the enforcement actions.
